Pre-sale tickets for Sabaton's upcoming tour date at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena starts with the Ticketmaster presale on Thursday, July 8, as well as the venue presale on the same day. The word 'sabaton' itself refers to a knight's foot armor, while their last album, The Great War, was entirely based around the events of World War I. Sabaton consists of Vocalist Joakim Brodén Bassist Pär Sundström Guitarists Chris Rörland and Tommy Johansson and Drummer Hannes. It follows the same pattern of many of their songs that focus on battle themes and specifically heroism in war. Sweden’s SABATON is now allowing pre-orders for the band’s new album, The War To End All Wars, due for release via Nuclear Blast Records on March 4, 2022. The song 'Livgardet' was written and performed in tribute to the Swedish Army regiment, relating to its 500th anniversary as a military unit. They wrote: "Are you ready for some new Sabaton music? Wait no more! Hear now a teaser of one of our upcoming songs." A day later, the band confirmed recording would soon be underway on their tenth studio album. Sabaton teased the release of their latest studio album for which the tour will support with a short sample of a new song, Livgardet, back in February.
